Famous for its lions the safari park allows close proximity to animals from the African Savannah including hippos, lions, monkeys, giraffes and rhinos – with deer, wolves, bats and tarantulas adding variety!

Frequently Asked Questions about Longleat Safari Park

 

What does a Day Ticket to Longleat Include?

The Longleat One-Day ticket gives unlimited repeat entry to all attractions on the day of your visit though this excludes House Tours, Animal Feeding Experiences or the Safari Bus, these would cost extra.

 

Does Longleat Sell out of Tickets?

It's rare for The Safari Park to sell out of tickets as they utilise an online pre-booking system but it can happen on certain peak days throughout the Year.  Do note that the annual Festival Of Light is extremely popular and sells out fairly quickly so you'll need to move fast to reserve yourselves a ticket. 

 

Does an All Day Ticket include Access to Longleat House?

Yes you will be able to enter the stunning Longleat House and step back in time and begin to appreciate this stately home's grandeur. You're also able to access Longleat's gardens and admire their natural beauty too. If you want a tour of Longleat House then that will need to be pre-booked and it is an additional cost. 

 

Are Dogs Allowed at Longleat?

Service dogs are allowed at the Safari Park but there are strict regulations and they are not permitted to enter many of the zones to protect the health of Longleat's animals. Pet dogs (and any other animal) are not allowed onto any of Longleat's grounds at all including car parks. There are kennel facilities available at the entrance to Longleat but they are VERY basic and are not supervised. Kennels cannot be booked in advance. We'd recommend you leave your dog at home or look to use a local kennel for 24 hours.

Can I cancel Longleat Tickets and get a Refund?

Longleat Safari tickets are non-refundable but bookings are transferable to another day within the same season (subject to availabiility), though an additional charge of £5 per paid ticket extra is required. You will have to pay by card on the gate on the day of entry to do this. Longleat is a cashless operation.

Longleat do offer a Ticket Plan Protection scheme via a Third party if you wish to be able to get a refund. This service would come at an additional charge when buying tickets.
